Day 1 moderate in northern North Dakota. Radar hole for the US in the greatest tornado risk area. I am curious what will go on in Canada though.
Environment Canada has issued their equivalent of severe thunderstorm and tornado watches for areas along the border. The tornado watches all contain the following line "This is a dangerous and potentially life-threatening situation." -- I am not sure how that translates to our wording or if that ends up in all Canadian tornado watches.

We're FINALLY getting some rain after over a month without any here in southeast Texas. About 1/4" yesterday, and so far 1/2" today. Splash and dash rain clouds are very welcome here. As long as they keep moving, all will be well.
